A building at 14205 - 109 Avenue has been purchased that will be rehabilitated to become the new Jewish Community Centre. The JCC redevelopment committee selected Mode Architecture Inc. to develop the vision and design of the facility. Our goal is to have the new JCC open in 2026. Province announces $1 million capital grant for new JCC
We are very pleased to share the Alberta government has announced $1 million in capital funding for the new Jewish Community Centre (JCC). The grant was made possible through the Community Facility Enhancement Program, and we extend deep appreciation to Minister of Arts, Culture and Status of Women Tanya Fir and the Government of Alberta for this support for our community. Jewish Edmonton contributes to the province’s social fabric, and we commit to creating a welcoming space for all Albertans.
The JCC project ensures today’s generation and generations to come have a gathering space open to all. This is an exciting moment for our community and this grant demonstrates how the province is confident in the future of Jewish Edmonton.
